The Mayfair Property Market

As the saying goes 'don't wait to buy real estate, buy real estate and wait'. And so it is to Mayfair where property owners have seen consistent annual price growth with limited downside over the last 30 years - making the area one of the top real estate markets in the world.
Average Sales Value Houses: £4.85m
Average Sales Value Flats: £5.9m
Average £ PSF Sale Price: £2,157 (at Sept 2020)
In the past aristocrats and landed gentry dominated the Mayfair scene but today you are more likely to encounter a young tech millionaire or billionaire resident with 50% of residents expected to be aged between 25 and 44 by 2021.
The restaurant options aren't too bad either - with a restaurant to resident ratio of 38/1 compared to 319/1 across Prime London, you won't be stuck for choice*. Famous residents have included Queen Elizabeth II (born at 17 Bruton Street), Winston Churchill, Benjamin Disraeli and Jimi Hendrix (23 Brook Street).
Clarges is arguably one of Mayfair's most prestigious new developments. Situated opposite Green Park and within a stone's throw of the Ritz, the development is super prime luxury at its finest. However Twenty Grosvenor Square completed by Finchatton in October 2019, featuring 37 new homes and a 25 metre indoor swimming pool arguably raises the benchmark. The quality of the interiors is above and beyond what you'd expect in some of the world's finest hotels.
